GLAAD Awards 2013: nomination dei premi per artisti, tv e film gay

 

Ogni anno la GLAAD - acronimo di Gay and Lesbian Alliance Agains Defamation - premia film, serie tv, artisti e siti che hanno aiutato la comunità LGBT ad essere fieramente e inclusivamente rappresentata.
Le nomination dei premi GLAD 2013 sono state comunicate oggi ed i premi saranno assegnati in tre diverse date: il 16 marzo a New York, il 20 aprile a Los Angeles e l'11 maggio a San Francisco.
 
Nel settore entertainment accanto a nomi già visti nel corso di questi anni come Glee, Grey's Anatomy e Modern Family, fanno la comparsa anche serie come The New Normal e Smash. Per il cinema ritroviamo ParaNorman, film di animazione per famiglie con il primo personaggio dicharatamente gay della storia dei cartoni, Mitch: ParaNorman è anche nella cinquina degli Oscar 2013 come miglior film di animazione.
Segnaliamo anche Cloud Atlas, diretto insieme al fratello da Lana Wachowski, che ha recentemente comunicato il suo felice cambio di sesso
Nella musica spiccano cantanti gay dichiarati e saldamente in vetta alle classifiche come Frank Ocean (vera rivelazione e fresco di coming out nel 2012), i Gossip con la splendida Beth Ditto, Adam Lambert, Scissors Sisters e Rufus Wainwright fresco di matrimonio.
